I think there is a handsworth in Birmingham.
And a taxi friend has just said there is one in Sheffield.

Subject: [CATLEY] Staffordshire Catleys
Hello All,
Herewith information concerning a new to me Catley "pocket" that I did not
know existed.
Source:- IGI Staffordshire.
Daniel Folds Catley, married in Audley, Staffordshire 1755
Elizabeth Catley married in Audley, Staffordshire 1755
Tabby Catley married in Audley, Staffordshire 1755
Audley still is a village to the N.W. of Stoke on Trent.
Three Catley weddings in one year in the village and no other
entries....... interesting what's that all about?
Moses Catley bapt Handsworth, Staffordshire 1762
Moses Catley married Handsworth, Staffordshire 1788
Elizabeth Catley bapt Handsworth, Staffordshire 1789
Elizabeth Catley bur Handsworth, Staffordshire 1847.
I can not find a Handsworth, Staffordshire and conclude that the current
Handsworth, Warwickshire, West Midlands, was transferred from Staffs to
Warks some time in the late 19th Cent'ry.
Liz........... any chance that these Handsworth Catleys connect to the
Birmingham Catley Tree??
