Hi Tim
Yes I am planning to be in Oxford, but I can't remember the date.
As far as the Birmingham Catley branch is concerned I have met the singer Bob on a couple
of occasions - a close friend managed the studio he records at. He is a delightful person
who apologised for having two daughters and no sons.
I also met a Catley from Shenstone. He said that he was of the Birmingham branch but asked
if I knew of the Pudsey connection. My grandfather used to say that he had relatives who
came from Pudsey - but I cant find the connection.
Re. Staffordshire: My grandfather moved to Brierley Hill, Staffordshire when he married
(moved from Bradford with Pat Collins Fair). My father and his siblings were born in
Pensnett Staffordshire.
All the best
John one T
