Before going farther with this are you quite sure about the long name?
Could this not be Richard William Catley whose address at enlistment was
17 Duke Street Grimsby (Service Records, Ancestry)? A Richard W Catley
Pte 57648 W Yorks R is shown as deceased on his medal card. This man is
found in a CWGC record from Montecchio, Italy which gives his date of
death as 24/5/18. Son of James and Margaretta Catley, of Grimsby.

This Catley member,
Is included on the St James, Grimsby WW1 War Memorial yet does not
feature in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission "casualties list".
He is shown as having served in the Bedfordshire Regiment.
Sharon and self are currently investigating two Barley Catley Tree
members who have their names on the Barley Parish Memorial to those
fallen in WW1, yet do not appear on the CWGC list.
With EWRW Catley this now makes three.
Can anybody identify this Yorkshire Catley and join Sharon in
communications with the CWRG as to why not identified and where buried?
Tim
