Hi Liz et all,
I suppose we could say that the results so far, are on line with our
original predictions. That is, known Catley "hot spots" in (1) Herts/Cambs
(2) Lincs (3) Yorks. Plus single instances of Somerset and London.
Seems to me that we know there were numerous Catleys in the London area
(include Essex and Kent as well if you like) from 1600 onwards yet we only
have just one dna test result, courtesy of Alan in Canada. Can we not
entice more London Catleys to get themselves tested to redress the
imbalance?
Tim

Subject: [CATLEY] DNA results
Hi All,
Just to refresh everybody's memory. 9 people have taken the test so far.
Gary Leonard and Allan had a match. These are Cambridge Hertfordshire
trees.
John (my Dad) and Fredric known as John Telford are a match for
Lincolnshire and we know that Dave M is also linked to this group.
Tim and John (Marg) are linked to Yorkshire.
Peter (Glynis) is not linked to anyone yet and Alan in Canada is also not
linked to anyone.
It would be nice if we can find some new recruits so that we could help
match Peter and Alan to someone and maybe expanded there trees.
All those that have done DNA testing need to go and check out your
personal page on Familytreedna as they have added some extras in there.
Liz
