Hi Tim & Liz:
Long before I became an Ancestry member the Rootsweb "Somerset Coalfield
Connections" provided me with a wealth of information. In places it is
incomplete or at odds with what I have found out later other sources but it
pointed me in the right direction on many occasions.
I have also been able to get in touch with people who have been researching
connected trees which has been very helpful.
This information was put together on Rootsweb I think by PJ Clements who I
also believe way back when in the early days of the Catley Desk posted all
the Catley BMD from the parish records in Midsomer Norton which made my
research possible if the first place.

Glynis/Liz,
Have you checked out Catley on Rootsweb 'Somerset Coalfield Connections'?
235 Catleys listed for Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Welton etc all from the
Parish Records with Census x ref's as well.
Have not checked this against Chris' database
Cheers
Tim
