Hi there Tim,
Yes, got another raft of them yesterday.
Time will tell as to what will happen, may be the earliest accepted entries drop off.
I have to say I do check them for the Cat*ley name, but of course as we have learnt
that doesn't necessarily mean alot ! I suppose I do it because not everyone tests
above the 12 marker level and if its not monitored then a Catley might get through.
All those listed below might be Haplogroup R1b1b2, but other than David in USA, yourself
and Anne and I, there is no match. This in itself blow my theory out the window as
belonging to the Melbourn triangle, which although not what I wanted to hear is very
useful. Saying this though I think we have all gone beyond the 12 marker test, or maybe 1
hasn't (sorry can't check as I work).
As an aside I have actually got two 37 minus 4 marker matches to two names that are the
same but not Catley....
Cheers
Jocelyn

Subject: [CATLEY] Family Tree dna matches
Hi Liz et al,
I keep getting a string of match returns from FTDNA at the uninteresting 12 marker level
which now total 990.
Their database accepts 1000 matches ......... so what happens in another 10 matches time,
will their system throw a wobbler and reset to zero?
Is there any point in monitoring the Y12 reports? They don't seem to mean much, other
than we are all Haplogroup R1b1b2 or Western Mesolithic man.
Glynis + Janet
Jocelyn + Ann
Alan in Ca
Bernie in Au
David in USA + self ....................are all R1b1b2
Tim
