I have rung Mum, and Dad is out on the farm, so will have to wait until Dad
returns to provide any more info. Mum knows that Dad never got his medals
but may know who did. Time will tell. Dad has his diary. Francis was Dad's
uncle, and of course Dad was named after him.
I have been to his gravesite and one of my cousins went there last year.

remembered in a few years ago. But I can't afford to get into this

This is your Private Francis Albert Catley of the ANZAC Force who served
at Gallipoli in 1915 and then on The Western Front with the Otago Infantry
Regiment and died of war wounds on 27/6/1916.
