Celia,
I think that all the Listers who have ordered the FTDNA test have paid for
the Y37 comparison on the understanding that the Y12 test is insufficient to
get a idea as to what is the probability of a common relation and how many
generations ago this was.
However the Company appears to give advance notification at the Y12 marker
level if a match is found, with a wait of about another 10 days or so,
before the Y37 result is provided.
Jocelyn is in that interim period and expects the Y37 answers next week.
The company however, provide a list of people + sur names where a Y12 marker
exact match has been found, with the means of making e-mail contact.

I am hoping that you have paid for more than 12 marker test, i
don't think
you can jump to conclusions on 12, you need 37 marker to really be sure
you
are related within the last few generations.
