Hello Tim,
I do not know of a Greenwich in Middlesex, if you mean Greenwich I think
you'll find it is in Kent. If you mean Middlesex then I have a James Charles
that sometimes dropped the James who was born in Middlesex. As I originally
found the family in Essex I think they might have been lumped under that
group but every census found them in a different town, & north or south of
the Thames.

Subject: [CATLEY] Catley Tree data
Hello everybody,
As you are probably aware from the email traffic on this Rootsweb List,
there are some of us Cat*ley researchers that are interested in all
Cat*ley trees rather than just the one we are related to.
I certainly fall into the former classification, and am currently working
on an ALL CAT*LEY spreadsheet which is designed to show all the different
Trees that we know about, merged into one time scale document in Excel.
So far I have loaded the following Trees:-
Edmund Catley of Bilton Ainstey. Yorkshire
Robert Catley of Garforth Yorkshire
Stephen Catley of Ackworth Yorkshire
Stevan Catlay of Normanton Yorkshire
Thomas Catley of Escrick Yorkshire
Joseph Catley of Walkeringham Yorkshire
Emery Catley of Midsomer Norton Somerset
James Catley of Barley Hertfordshire
Am currently inputting the William Catley of Aston, Birmingham tree to add
to the above.
I have a few more to go yet, such as:-
William Catley of Farndon Notts
Charles Catley of Greenwich Middx
Stephen Catley of Ackworth Yorks
William Catley of Kirton Lincs.
Naturally I will also load the PRO/GRO bmd's but only after I have first
entered all that we have to offer from free researches.
Realise that I have only just scratched the surface of what is, a far
bigger effort than I first realised but having devoted quite a large chunk
of time to it so far, which accounts for 2,700 Catley names recorded, it
seems silly to stop now!
Can I appeal to anybody who has a Cat*ley Tree recorded that I have not
covered in the above list to contact me re including it?
The finalised version will be available to Listers but no others.
Regards
Tim
