Hi Liz,
My confusion was concerning the possibility that it looked to me as if we
had a Broadhead family marrying into two different Catley trees in the Leeds
area, not unusual of course, but it seemed a more likely case that they
could have been all the one family.
Anyway, your info confirms for me the former, ie that the Broadheads married
into both the Robert Catley of Garforth AND the Robert Catley of Rothwell
trees so thank you for that.
Just in case the term Robert Catley of Rothwell caused any confusion : -
this is the title I am using for what we had previously as William &
Marmaduke Catley of Wakefield. Robert from Rothwell being William's father
and Marmaduke's grandfather.
Tim

Hi Tim
I was still trying to sort out the last message. Emma Broadhead was the
daughter of Henry and Mary or Elizabeth possibly had 2 wives. Bap
22/10/1837
E Ardsley.
Catherine was the daughter of David and Ann Broadhead b 1858 E Ardsley.
Ann
being David's cousin!! Harry Henry was the sone of James and Emma Catley b
1858 Swinton Ardsley. I think all the broadheads where related one way or
another. William Arthur b 1866 Garforth son of Maria b 1837 Newbold.
Does this answer the first question.
As for the 2 below they both die 1907 Wortley and 1908 Drypool(part of
Sculcoates)
