Hi Jocelyn and Tim
I did have a little look for you, but I need to renew my membership on
Ancestry. I noticed that there was a James about the same time as your John.
Could he be related.
When I renew I will give it another go.
Tim I have nearly finished my tree to send over to you..
Liz

Hi there Tim,
Thanks for this synopsis. I got a similar list as you. I am hoping that a
Lister has come across either of these two and may have put the
information
to one side, or can discount those in your list below.
I have a few thoughts but haven't had a chance to organise them yet !
Regards
Jocelyn

Hello Jocelyn,
A nil return so far, from the List to your request for help.
Maybe you should consider trawling at least five (maybe even ten?) years
either side of 1775 to be in with a chance of netting your John?
I can see John's bapt 1775 in :-
Lincs (Faldingworth) and Liverpool but no others.
Going backwards:-
1774 nil
1773 nil
1772 Louth (Lincs) & Sawston (Cambs) ............ Not listed on any known
tree
1771 Tisbury (Wilts) & Gt Chesterford (Essex).....Tisbury = James of
Barley,
Gt Chesterford not listed
1770 nil
Going forwards :-
1776 Leeds..........................................................Not
listed on any known tree
1777 Melbourn (Cambs)......................................Predates the
start of Lynda's Joseph of Melbourn tree
1778 Faldingworth (Lincs) & Hemswell (Lincs)....Not listed on any known
tree
1779 nil
1780 nil.
The two 1775 John's are also not listed on any known tree.
You can discount 1771 Tisbury by dna and presumably 1777 as well?
That leaves four Lincolnshire possibles + Gt Chesterford + Sawston and
Liverpool!
Possibly David can help you on the Lincs ones, as for the others, I do not
know
Sorry I can not help more
Tim
p.s.
This is the best I can do for you and based on what I have. I rely on
other
Listers to feed me with updates from their own searches and it is quite
possible that some may be sitting on stuff that has not yet come my way
and
could be relevant?
