Hi Tim,
I'm here!
I always read the Catley mail but generally have little to add that would
help researchers.
I'm more than happy to try to help the new researcher.
Thanks Tim,
Cheers
Jann

Subject: [CATLEY] Thomas Catley of Welton (Midsomer Norton) 1701
Good Evening all,
The Thomas Catley of Welton tree is one of the two well known Somerset trees
with connections to Hobart (William Aubrey) and Nelson NZ (James Thomas) to
say nothing of other UK locations away from their original Somerset roots.
The information in my possession concerning Thomas' lineage comes from
Glynis who compiled a tree for him as an aside to her work on her Emery
Catley of MSN tree.
Apart from some now quite old correspondence from Jann Parks, the Thomas of
Welton tree has remained on my books as one with "no current Lister member".
All that has now changed with a request for assistance via The Guild of One
Name Studies from a distaff tree member in Bath.
He may well appear and introduce himself on Rootsweb Catley-L but in case he
does not and either Jann or Glynis wish to make contact ahead, I will gladly
forward any messages.
Tim
