I've found him. Well done Anthony. Can't find him on 61 census but he is on
71 81 91 by which time he is a widow. I think Jane died 1882 aged 61
Lambeth. She was 9 years or so older than him. However Can't figure out the
Catley bit. On the 41 census there is a Lydia McInnes aged 30 with Augustus
aged 11 living at Primrose St which appears to be the same as 51 census
address can you check for me please. Can't find his death anywhere either.

Liz, I have found Augustus C. McInnes (transcibed McImas by
Findmypast),
clerk, born Shoreditch, in the 1851 census but all this tells us is he was
using the name 2 years before his marriage. Anthony
