Hello Elaine,
Thank you for the response, a change of scenery is never a bad idea (or
should that be "a change is as good as a rest"?) and I thought you had been
a bit quiet recently.
You do not indicate if you have done any research study on the Wilts side of
your Catley tree, maybe not. If that is the case, then please do not do
anything special on my account...........think Sharon has done quite a lot
of work but it is a case of asking her nicely if she will dig it out for me,
last time I asked, I think she was having troubles with her files and could
not locate the right one.
Best wishes
Tim

Hi Tim,
I'm sorry I have not been doing much work on the Catley side of my tree
lately as I have just got in touch with a new cousin on my Brunton side and
as I am going to visit next weekend, so am busy getting lots of information
ready.
I will definitely get back to it after my visit.
Elaine

Elaine and Sharon,
Re the Wiltshire branch of the James of Barley (1709) tree, have you
finished your searches in that direction yet?
I ask because I have a number of unallocated names from that area which do
not fit in with the Barley tree data that I am holding at present.
Are either of you in a position to send to me your results?
Taking into account that which you sent to me about three years ago now, it
seems that the marriage of Newman to Ann Sanger 1802 is missing and with it,
the marriage of Henry (b 1807) to Martha Viney (1829 Wardour) and subsequent
issue here.
Also, are you certain that James (b 1768) married both Sarah and Mary
Scammell ? I ask because there are references to a Jacob marrying Mary not
James, this may well be a transfer error that you have already ascertained
because I can not see a Jocob anywhere !
Regards
Tim
