Hi all
I have Agnes Rosina Catley's birthday as 5th February. Her death notice is
as follows:
The Mercury (Hobart, Tas.) "Saturday 11 September 1875"
CATLEY - On the 10th instant, at the Military Barracks, Agnes Rosina, fourth
daughter of William A. Catley, of heart disease, aged 11 years and 7 months.
That would make her year of birth 1864, I think.
Cheers
Pat

Hi Tim
Thanks for passing on the details ,
I reckon you are probably correct about those dates being baptisms .
Agnes Rosina Catley is also new one for me.
I had Susannah as the daughter of John Miles and Elizabeth Howett ,
but again I failed to record the source.
It's probably lurking on a scrap of paper somewher.
Thanks again .

G'day Tim/ David,
The following records of children of William Aubrey Catley and Susannah
Miles are from a CD- ROM "Tasmanian Pioneers Index". This searchable index
covers all birth, death and marriage registrations in Tasmania from the
period of registration (1838) until 1899. The origins of the records
indicate the dates are actual birth dates rather than baptism dates.
The records are held by the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office.
1. William Aubrey Catley (b.1831;d.1907)
sp: Susannah Miles (m.1858)
2. Amy Ann Catley (b.25 Sep 1859;d.1921)
sp: Richard Horsley Hickman (b.27 Sep 1866;m.31 Aug 1893;d.24 Apr 1949)
2. Louisa Florence Catley (b.6 Mar 1861;d.1874)
2. Alice Maud Catley (b.8 Oct 1862)
2. Emily Elizabeth Catley (b.28 Sep 1867)
2. William Aubury Catley (b.19 Dec 1869)
sp: Florence Lydia Galloway (m.1896)
2. Robert William Catley (b.22 Jul 1871)
2. James Thomas Catley (b.11 Aug 1873;d.1875)
sp: Doreas Holbrook (b.8 Jul 1875;m.1899)
2. Florence Emily Catley (b.17 Oct 1877)
Regards,
Mick Catley
