Hi Liz,
I think that the Yorkshire equation has simply come about by a matter of
collective research interest which has been driven by yourself and Kay with
support from Peter Swinbank plus the addition of the Normanton line of some
630 births which have been known about well before Internet research became
possible.
In all, luck has been with us here and with the exception of some difficult
American sub branch research on the Garforth tree, the path has been quite
easy.
By comparison, the Lincolnshire Catleys would seem to have a far larger
source potential, with early Catleys scattered across the whole depth and
breadth of the county but also extending into Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire
for good measure ; a veritable mine field of parish information and
difficult research, thank goodness you have David working on it in his
meticulous way. Bravo David!
Tim
