Hi Nigel,
I could do with a trip to Worthing!!! So yes I you would like to order
them.
Also can you have a look and see what they have on Wellow or
Beckington.
What I'm looking for is the following
Cornelius Kately from Preston but living at Willmington married Mary
Jennings from Chewton Mendip at St Peter and Paul Bath Abbey 7/4/1656
witnessed by Benjamin Kately and William Kately.
Benjamin Kately from Preston married Cicely Biggs from Camerton at the
same
church on 27/9/1655.
Obviously related. Both marriages where preformed by the Rev from Bath
and
Camerton. I haven't found any children from these marriages but
we do
have
evidence of Benjamin m Martha Sims in Beckington 21/4/1715 and there
is
also
a Benjamin that married Hannah in Wellow. Could he be a descendent of
Cornelius or Benjamin.
However I do not know which Preston they are from or where Willmington
is.
I
have googled it and get Eastbourne but thats no where near Bath.
Any suggestions? So if you find anything that relates to those
parishes
let
me know and maybe I can get the film for there as well.
Cheers
Liz

OK Got it figured. There was a Wilmington in Somerset. It was part of
Priston which is just below Bath near Dunkerton above Camerton .
So I can now look for the records unless Nigel finds it first.
