Daniell GAINES to William BATES, one half of a 1376-acre patent, not
already sold to Henry JERMAN, Robert, GAINES, Goerge MARKES, and Richard
MARLOW. Patent granted Daniell GAINES and Nicholas WILLARD on 24 Jan
1670. Located on freshes of the south side of the Rapphannock River,
near the Mattapanny Path.

17 Nov 1670. John CATLETT and Daniell GAINES witnessed conveyance of
patent from James GAINES to Cornelius and Abraham STAP and James
ANDREWS. Patented to James GAINES from Sir William BERKELEY. Near
Occupation (Occupason) Creek and Popoman's Branch. 519 acres. Granted
to Capt. Tho: HAWKINS, 20 Sep 1661. 132 of the acres patented to James
GAINES from transportation of 2 persons into the colony. 11 Mar 1667.

conveyance of a patent from John HARDESTY to Geo: DAVIS, phicitian.
Patent which John HARDESTY received 18 Nov 1666 from William and Anne
LANE. 80 acres near ----tick Creek, adjoining lands formerly owned by
Thos. HOPKINS.

27 Mar 1671. John CATLETT and Daniell GAINES witnesses an amendment to
the conveyance made by John HARDESTY. He added clarification that the
patent was also made to Martha DAVIS. Perhaps Dr. George DAVIS had died
in the interim.

on 19 Oct last (1670) and declared to John CATLETT at that time.

7 Mar 1671/2. Recordation date. On 1 Jan 1671/2, Nicholas CATLETT,
planter, County of Rapphannock and Elizabeth, his wife, conveyed and
sold 100+ acres in the county of Rappahannock, Sittingbourne Parish to
John WILLIAMSON. Property located in Sittingbourne Parish joining the
property lines of John WILLIAMSON and John DAINGERFIELD. Witnesses:
John RYMAN and Waller BOOTH. Elizabeth CATLETT elected John RYMAN to be
her attorney in this matter. 1 Jan 1671/2.

7 Mar 1671/2. On 20 Jan 1671/2, Robert ARMSTRONG and Dorothy, his wife
conveyed 400 acres to Nicholas CATLETT. Patent to ARMSTRONG 26 Oct 1666
and recorded 24 Apr 1672[?]. Property located on north side of
Piscattaway Creek, northwest of Young Swamp. Witness to
Catlett-Armstrong conveyance: Thomas GAINES and Katha: GAINES.
