Morning Y'all, my Boone cousin Faye is a Garrett, and she has been working
on the family for many years, her mother was a Garrett, Doris Estelle
Garrett, her parents were Marshall Turner Garrett and her mother Queen
Victoria Creel Garrett. His father was William George Thomas Garrett his
mother Melvina Viola/Violet Smith. Her father was Parmalee Smith. Three
Smith sisters married Three Garrett brothers, information regarding this
will come later when she locates same. W.G..T. Garrets' fathers' name was
Matthew Garrett, and as far as it is determined he was supposedly killed
in the War Between the States. The areas were the Carolinas and Alabama ca
1832. They were farmers, the Garrets had sandy red hair and very blue
eyes, and light complected, and the other Garrett coloring had a swarthy
complexion, and had brown eyes. These were brothers.
From Rattlesnakes to Road Agents Rough Times on the Frio written by
Frances Bramlette Farris, she resembles Garrett, especially my cousin
Faye. Book is not indexed for family names, certain references.
If any of this information sounds familiar, please contact me. Thanks
Tudie

Glad to help!
I know of two Bramlett girls who married Garretts, just don't know the
parents of the two girls. Wish I did know for sure.
What is in Rattlesnakes to Road Agents? Much about the Garretts and
Bramletts?
