This is just according to the Stubbs book, but Melvina & Amanda were
sisters & that would make the last name for both Barbee.......

Hi again, Harry --

I find it interesting to note that both WOOLFOLK and ENDERS are names
tied to CATLETT descendants of my line (Robert CATLETT and Mary FLOYD).
Mary Ann CATLETT (daugher of Robert CATLETT [son of Robert CATLETT and
Mary FLOYD] and Elizabeth FARROW) married Jacob ENDERS after 21 Dec
1798. Jacob ENDERS and Mary Ann had Willia ENDERS, b. ca. 1805 who
married Lydia DAWSON. Other siblings are:
John Catlett ENDERS m. Elizabeth COFFIELD
Henry ENDERS m. Adelia JACOB
Marquis ENDERS
[Dr.] Peter ENDERS
[William] m. Lydia DAWSON
Mary ENDERS m. Jesse K. BELL
Elizabeth ENDERS m. HINES
Robert ENDERS m. (1) Amanda BARBER and (2) Melvina BARBER
Stubbs gives the name of William ENDERS' wife as Lydia WALTERS, which
matches what you show in your database on WorldConnect. However, in
looking at the Automated Archives, Inc. CD (Banner Blue Division of the
former Broderbund and The Learning Company and currently Mattel) #229
(McCracken Co., KY, screen 3 of 12), William ENDERS married Lydia DAWSON
on 16 Nov 1840. I see you show a marriage place for William and Lydia
of Paducah and not being very familiar with Kentucky placenames, I
looked Paducah up in a map and see it's in McCracken Co. Looks like we
have the same folks, but a surname for Lydia which isn't the same, but
may be explainable if we were to look at other records of that area.
For instance, did Lydia have a prior marriage to a DAWSON?
Harry it looks like you've got two CATLETT lines (at least). I was
wondering if you could reload your GEDCOM file to WorldConnect and show
the data with both the pedigree and descendancy options. Right now, all
I can seem to be able to do is show descendancies, but not pedigrees.
Was wanting to look at your other ancestors and see who's who in your
tree. <s>
I mentioned earlier that there was also a WOOLFOLK connection in this
line. It seems to come down via the marriage between Robert ENDERS
(above) and Melvina BARBER. Three of their children married WOOLFOLKs.
And Melvina's second husband was Edmond Woolfolk.
If this William ENDERS and Lydia DAWSON are your ancestors, as it
appears, then you're also joined here on this list with other cousins
(via Robert CATLETT and Mary FLOYD) -- Lee Hoffman, Ken Catlett, myself,
and possibly others.
