A message was received from the President of the United States, by Mr.
Donelson, his private Secretary,
notifying that the President of the United States did, on the 10th of
February instant, approve and sign--
An act to authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to compromise the
claim of the United States on the
Commercial Bank of Lake Erie;
An act to alter the time of holding the spring term of the circuit
Court of the United States for the southern
district of New York;
Resolution empowering the Secretary of the Navy to settle certain
contracts, and to relinquish certain
forfeitures;
And, on the 18th of February instant,
An act for the relief of Adam Peck;
An act for the relief of Ariel Ensign;
An act for the relief of Lawrence L. Van Kleeck;
An act granting a pension to Jared Cone;
An act for the relief of Antoine Dequindre, Richard Smith, and others,
Michigan volunteers;

An act for the relief of James Lucius Sawyer;
An act for the relief of Andrew H. Richardson, executor of Valentine
Richardson:
And, on the 24th of February instant,
An act for the relief of William Tharp;
An act for the relief of the heirs of William Robertson, deceased, and

An act to provide for the payment of arrearages in the naval service,
chargeable to the enumerated
contingent prior to the 1st day of January, 1832;
An act making appropriations for the revolutionary and other
pensioners of the United States for the year
1832;
An act making appropriations for fortifications for the year 1832;
An act making appropriations for the naval service for the year 1832;
An act for the relief of John Sapp;
