I am glad to hear there are other children . . . can you or some one
else
help
me fill in the data on the other children . . . the thought of there
being
20
years between Halsey and my Susannah, I know there had to be
other's . . .
I'll contact you separately, Kenny. Meanwhile, there were possibly 11
children of Laban and Susannah. The three you named (by the way "Halsey" is
spelled "ALSEY" on census and deed records I've seen). Other children:
- Clark (b. abt 1799) mar. Frances <unknown>
- Sarah (b. abt. 1800) mar. Josiah MURRAY
- Rebecca (b. abt.1800) mar. Henry B. ROBERTSON
- Dr. John (b. 1800-1803) mar. 1) Amelia MORGAN -- my line, 2) Hester A.
DEAN, and 3) Nancy G. FULLER
- Ezekiel (b. abt. 1806) mar. Elizabeth B. FREEMAN
- Mary (b. 1809-1810) mar. Thomas JACKSON
- Elizabeth (b. 1817) mar. Preston STOE/STOWE
Note: Elizabeth's husband was a brother to your Susannah's husband.
And, according to census records, there may have been another daughter, name
unknown.

Also I seen somewhere that Laban's father was Hazelwood
(Hasilwood)
Catlett,
anyone else know anything about this ? ?
That relationship is speculative based on Hazelwood living in the same area
of NC at the time Laban would have been born in NC (NC, according to census
records). Proof has not been found of this relationship, as there is
another son of Hazelwood named Labourne whose descendants remained in the
Franklin/Granville Co. area of NC.

(1803-1823) and then removed to Georgia, they are welcome to email me
directly.
