Below is an update on the Catlett family I'm researching. Sorry it's so
long. I'd like to make additional connections with others, both other
descendants of John Catlett and possibly his siblings. My theory (and I
don't have a lot of info to back it up with) is that John Catlett was
somehow part of that family of Catletts in Ohio who were separated and
orphaned. I sent a few questions to the Noble County, Ohio list one time,
asking about Catletts and two people responded with census info on John as
well as a brother of his, Henry, I think. They were not living together,
and were young in the 1850 census. I"ll have to check my notes on that
idea. Anyway, I thought I'd post what I have already amassed. By the way,
if you have a connection, please e-mail me. I was recently in Ripley County
and was able to find and take pictures of the tombstones of John & Sarah.
If you want a .jpg image, please let me know. The film isn't back yet, so
it may take me a few days to get it to you.
