Welcome to the Catlett list, Cassie! I've forwarded your message to the list
'cause the timing of your subscription was about 2 minutes after you tried to
post and that caused your message to "bounce" to me.
Do you have any location information for these folks?
Sally might be a "Sarah". I see one in my database who might fit. I have a
Sarah CATLETT, b. ca. 1778 in VA, daughter of Robert CATLETT and Elizabeth
FARROW. In 1918, when the Baytop-Catlett book was published by Wm. Carter
Stubbs and wife, Elizabeth Saunders, nothing further was know about this
Sarah. Same is true for her brother, David. Several siblings went to KY and
further south. Her siblings:
Mary Ann
William
[Sarah]
Nancy
David
Peter
Lucy
George Farrow
Robert
Nimrod
Bryant
Elizabeth
Do you have any birthdates for her children? The Sarah above was presumably
still single in Oct 1809 when her father penned his will. Robert and
Elizabeth (Farrow) CATLETT seem to have been in Fauquier Co., VA. There are
ties between some branches of the CATLETT and ASHBY families in this area, as
well as Frederick Co. (west of Fauquier).
Do you have anything further on the parentage for her husband, Tinson Ashby?
Tracing his lineage may help prove which CATLETT family your Sally comes from

I'm looking for Sally Catlett, wife of Tinson Ashby (1772-1823). They had 3
children: Tinson C. Ashby, Thaddeus Constantine Sobierski Ashby and James C.
Ashby. Thanks for any help you can give.
