This is the website for the Maryland State Archives for those that are
interested: <
http://archive2.mdarchives.state.md.us:8765/index_msa.html>
Enter "Catlett" in the search box to find fifteen entries there. Some are
evidently restricted and you need a password, but others ares open. For
example, the "Assessment of 1783 - Montgomery County- Maryland Archives"
displays and shows a number of entries for Alexander Catlett as well as
some Beall entries.
The Baltimore City Death Index also shows some Catlett entries although
this seems to be for 20th century deaths (e,g, 1944). The Chancery papers
entries are also open and there is an entry referencing George & Clarissa
Catllett and some Lantzs.
The above is just a cursory look at it. But if anyone wonders what the
Maryland archives hold for a name, this can give you an idea.
