I know there are 2 or 3 of us on the list with Catlett family from
the
Morgan Co., VA/WV area. There may be others. If there are any items
you need checked at the courthouse in Berkeley Springs, send me an email
with details, off list, to tmg4me(a)comcast.net. I hope to make a trip
there in the next several weeks, possibly as early as 17 June. If not
that week, it may have to wait until after the 1st part of July.

I went to Berkeley County many many years ago and
did a survey of the Courthouse records.
I know I visited Berkely Springs, interesting
place, a little town jamed into a steep river
valley, but I could not find any abstracts for Morgan Co.
My Isaac Catlett supposedly left the area in
1816, four years before Morgan Co. was formed, so
I wasn't as interested in Morgan Co. records, but
I must have done something there, so I'll keep looking.
Below is a copy of the abstract that I did find.
