Cathers researchers,
I saw this ad for the sale of a letter written by Edward Cather, for $175.
Union Letter - A two page letter written in ink by Edward Cather on March 28, 1865 from
Cummings, Virginia. He tells his parents "The rebs made a pretty bold attachmade a
charge on Fort Steadman before daylight and captured the fortOur men closed in on them
and took twenty five or thirty hundred prisoners" A neat letter from near the end of
the war.
