My information is on Ancestry .com and on

The DNA test I did gave the ethnic break down, not the markers that come
with the male Dna. However, I think the mothers DNA is acceptable. I will look
that up.
My mother was Alice Bradshaw (Dayton Tx) m. Evert A. Rogers ( Bellville
Ill). Her mother was Mannie Willis Davis (Dayton Tx) m William Benjamin Bradshaw
(SImpson Co Ky). Mannie's Mother was Martha Emily Day (Dayton Tx) m. Joseph
William Davis (Desoto Parish La), Martha Emily "Mattie" Day was the D/o Martha
Caroline Munson (La) and Isaiah Cates Day (Shelby CO Tn).
Isaiah Cates Day was the founder of Days Town which became Dayton Texas. His
mother was Mary Cates and his father is Unknown Day.
All of the descendants are listed on the websites. The court house in Dayton
burned several times, so any information other than the registration of his
cattle and his will are gone. Lucinda Lum, a grand child, gave an affidavit
of the family in Dayton which is listed here.
I will write the Chief and see if there is any record of Mary Cates or her
family, in Tennesse.
Thank you for your response.
