Jean and everyone,
If there hasn't been much activity on the list for awhile, how about
a Roll
Call? There may be new subscribers since the last one. Send a few
lines, telling us which branch of the Cates family tree you're interested
in. You never know when a cousin is waiting to be found.

Welcome new List Administrator, Nancy
Sure hope we can get this list going again, it has been a long time,
since any one
posted. My name is Jean Hendrix, and I am from the Hiram
Cates clan. Does anyone know, if it has been discovered who Hiram's parents
are, this is Hiram Cates born 1814 in Bedford Co., TN
Sincerely,
Jean
Nancy
