Greetings all,
As many of you have noticed there have been substantive changes made in how
genetic distance is reported and calculated among the study members. Like
several of you, I think these changes appear to fly in the face of
documentation and would appear to be substantially farther a field than may
make sense.
I suspect that FTDNA has adjusted their software to reflect the current
vogue in DNA research but I have forwarded an inquiry requesting their
explanation. As soon as it is received, I will share it with all of you as
well as any questions which may still remain to be answered.
Your Cuz,
Bruce Cates
Bruce,
It's been so long since I have been to the CatesCousin website, I'm embarrassed
I can't find the site. Can you help me find it.
Thanks

Can you please tell me more? I participated in the study. What documentation are you
referring to?
I am sorry I have been out of the loop for a long time. would you mind filling me in on
what this means regarding
our Mdna results?
