>Peggy, I don't know Mary Amanda WILLIAMS (1820-bef 1870) parent's names or
much about her. She was probably born and married (William S. WORKMAN
1810-1869) in Orange Co. NC before coming to Weakley Co. I have other
>WORKMAN/WILLIAMS combinations: Richard D. WORKMAN (1776-1848) md. abt.
1796 Anna Kathrine WILLIAMS (1784-1868). David WILLIAMS md. 1794 Lydia
WORKMAN (b. 1777). She and Richard D. were bro and sis. Pleasant Green
WORKMAN (1800-1859) md Martha Patsey WILLIAMS.

3:00
AM couldn't go back to sleep...of course thinking genealogy, etc.
Got up
and got on computer (I almost never do this at this time). Opened
FTM...got
on line...reading all these emails I needed to answer. Then with no
warning
everything goes black...powers off...I'm in one end of a very
long
house...husbands in the other end asleep. Do you know how black and scary
it is at 3:45 AM when the lights go out? Stumbled around...found matches,
candle, phone book, went to the van got cell phone called electric company(
I figured everyone else would still be asleep)...semi had hit a light pole
all power out in south part of Mayfield and beyond. Husbands still asleep,
powers back on, computers ok, I'm not....Tuesday is the only day I work and
I've been awake since 3:00. Oh, well I just had to share this experience
with you all.
