"Squire" John Cate Family Cemetery
The family cemetery of "Squire" John Cate is located one mile west of Niota,
near Athens and Niota highway in the 1st District and is on the farm of Mr.
John Cate. It was originally known as the "Big Springs Farm". There are
about fifty unmarked graves.
