Charlie,
Below is briefly what I have for the director ancestors of William David
Cate and Julia Ann Osborn. I did not have this census citation and can't
tell you which county it came from but this Cate family line was in Saline
County, AR at one time. <snip>>>>>>>>>

I can confirm that the census record is from Saline Co. Ark. William and
Julia Cate were my grand parents and Lillian was my mother. The farm was in
the Haskell area of Saline Co. and many of this branch of the Cate family
are buried at Mt. Harmony cemetery in Saline Co. Note...the surname was
Cate not Cates. Thanks...Ray White>>>>>>>
Ray, the census information was typed EXACTLY as the transcriber wrote it. I
didn't add the "s," he did. Anyway -- looks like a connection here with Mr.
Baumbach??? Or did ya'll know that already?
Another little interesting tidbit too, some of my CATES ( with an "s") are
buried at Mt Harmony, Greenwood, Sebastian Co., AR. Wierd, huh?
The TAYLOR and PHILLIPS branches of my family met and married in Saline Co,
AR around Paron, and most of them are buried at Fowler Cemetery there.
