I know I've probably asked this question before, but is there anyone on
the list who has knowledge of the O'Daniel's who married into Cate
families?
I'm trying to make a connection possibly between them and my ggrandmother
who was born in NC. Mary Elizabeth O'Daniel.born about 1850. Her
mother's name was Eastor or Esther L. In the marriages that was sent
out there is a "Henry O'Daniel married to Dortha Cate and a "Jane"
O'Daniel who was married to Isaiah Cates. Both Cates were from Orange Co.
NC.
Isaiah Cates , my 2nd cousin 6t removed, and Dortha, my 2nd cousin 5times
removed. Mary married into the Stinnett family and eventually moved to
Polk County, AR. Would appreciate any information on any of these people
that might help. Thanks!!
Carol

==== CEMETERY-PHOTOS Mailing List ====
We are working on a Webpage. It should be up and running soon. It will
contain all the names and area that people have volunteered to take pictures.
Vicki, I checked my database but don't have anyone that fits the R. N.
Cates b. ca 1828 in Georgia.
Have you checked the Alabama Censuses to see if you can get names in
1870? It appears they didn't arrive in Texas until about 1778 by the
ages & birthplaces of the children.
Sorry I can't help
Roberta
