'My' Catchpoles are Norfolk folk too: Alburgh ( possibly!) to Earsham - to -
Denton - to - Gt Yarmouth.
I've hit a brickwall with DANIEL (also called James) CATCHPOLE b. abt 1798,
possibly Alburgh, possibly somewhere else in Norfolk, possibly London (1861
Census) after giving various birthplaces he admits in 1871 that his place of
birth is 'not known' as he was a soldier's son.
Any one have any links to this family or might be able to provide me with
clues as to his parentage?
Thanks,
Lee
