Hello,
Just wanted to mention that I found out yesterday that the man I've been trying to
find out about had a brother. George CATALDO (1926-1984) spent a year or 2 at the
"Veterans Home" in Chelsea, MA. Someone there told me about one small record
they have; it says that the "contact" for him at the time was a brother, Silio
CATALDO.
I tried to find out about that unusual name, and a different record said the name was
Milio CATALDO. And then Emilio CATALDO. I can't find any information on him with
any of the names. So, I don't know if he was an older brother or a younger brother.
Their parents were Joseph and Carmella CATALDO, and they probably lived in Somerville, MA,
during the 1920's. But, they possibly lived nearby and had their children at
"Somerville Hospital."
Also, my step-sons wanted to know about George's military career. That very simple
record said George was in the Army from 1953 to 1955. That means he probably only fought
in the Korean War.
