There are three Andrew Caswell's on the Index to Griffith's Valuation of
Ireland, 1848 - 1864:
1 County: Clare
Parish: Killaloe
Location: Killestry
2 County: Clare
Parish: St. Patricks
Location: Ballyglass
3 County: Tipperary
Parish: Templeachally
Location: Tullyvallan.
I only have this information because somebody did a look up for me on
Caswell and these were the three Andrew's on the list.
Hope this helps somewhat.

I just wondered as my:
Andrew Darwin CASWELL
b. 1836
is Descended from the Middleborough, MA Caswells
But his mother was Irish so that probably explains his given name.
Has anyone ever seen the name DARWIN used as a given or middle name
................ in any line. I have thought it unusualy and wondered if it
was a clue to his Mother's lineage. Her name was Mary WORDEN but I don't
have the name of her parents or sibblings.

"I would say that the Caswell named ANDREW probably came from the Irish
Canadian group. There were many Andrews in that line, and I don't recall
seeing it anywhere else."
