Hello,
I know that I'm replying to an old posting, but I'm wondering if you may
be able to help me.
I am also investigating the Caswells of Staffordshire, specifically
the
Caswells of Sedgley. My great-grandfather was Job Caswell, born 13 Feb 1860,
Coppice, Sedgley. His parents were John Caswell and Elizabeth Wakelam,
possibly married abt. 1846 in Sedgley. John's occupation was given as a
mining sinker. I am wondering if my gr.gr.-grandfather John could possibly
be the John Caswell (b. abt. 1825, Sedgley) that you have listed as one of
the children of John Caswell and Mary Hill. Do you have any other
information about this part of the family that may give me any clues? Any
info greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Linda
