No I do not think we have a tree connection.
As you have knowledge of Caswell area I was asking for advice.
This Oxfordshire marriage record says they were of Caswell.
The only Caswell place appears to Caswell Farm near Curbridge near Witney.
Maybe Thomas worked on the estate.

I'm not sure I see any connection to my Caswell tree. When you refer to Thomas &
Mary of Caswell, are you referring to the Caswell farm in Whitney?

Hi Mike
I found your lovely page on Caswell Farm. We have traced the LANKSHEAR name back to
Thomas and Mary but the only thing for their early days is
an entry in Archdeacon Marriage Bond for
1746 Lankshear, Thos of Caswell & Paxford, Mary of Caswell
Our folks would have married most likely at Witney but unfortunately the parish
records for early C18 appear to be lost.
There does not appear to be much around for Bampton the other likely parish.
From a Paxford researcher I think we have Mary
28 Jun 1724 Mary d. of Thomas
His Paxford details do not seem to clarify Thomas the father - several are mentioned
as fathers but not births
But my Thomas Lankshear just appears. I cannot find any birth etc and just that bare
line for the marriage.
So I was most excited to find your lovely pictures of Caswell and the story you
unfolded.
Do you know anything about the records for early 1700s?
I have been considering JA Giles 'History of Witney" which is now on CD - as
also his "History of Bampton"
Are these books a good genealogical source?
Many Thanks for your time and doing such good work in my county of interest.
