Hi Judy. The names aren't particularly meaningful but the place is.
I've been researching Gage/Richards/Caswelll connections in what is now
southern Ontario and keep being drawn to Taunton/Middleboro MA. The
most definite lead there is Remembrance Gage, b. 1736, NY state, who had
a daughter Sarah who married a man named Richards. She may have been
the mother of my g-g-grandfather, Remembrance Gage Richards who married
a Mary Ann Caswell in Bayham Twp. Ontario, 1839. She appears to be a
member of the Caswells who migrated from NY State to Ontario in the
early 1800s. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Hi List,
Haven't heard anything for awhile, so I thought I'd see if this bounced back.
My CASWELL line is Elijah Caswell who was a drummer in the Revolution, to
Abiather, to Elijah (Jr.), to William Henry, to Herbert. Taunton/Middleboro, MA.
Any of these names mean anything to anybody?
Thanks,
Judy
