I've "rescued" an old photograph of Jessie Tenney GRAY of Wyandotte, Kansas
which was taken at the McCormick Studio in Boston, Massachusetts. In
addition to her name and hometown, someone has also noted that she was 20
years old when the photograph was taken on July 20th 1883 along with noting
the town of Newburyport, Massachusetts. The photograph was apparently a
gift as well since it is signed "To Cousin Sarah" on the back of the
photograph.
Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information
regarding Jessie and her family:
Jessie Tenney GRAY was b. 31 Oct 1862 in Leavenworth, KS to parents
Barzillai GRAY and Mary Davy TENNEY. Jessie married Charles Trelinghsen
CASWELL (b. 1852 of Grand Junction, CO) on 7 May 1891 in Kansas City, KS.
Charles was listed as 39 years old at the time of their marriage and Jessie
as 28 years old.
Census records provide the following information:

I am hoping to locate someone from Jessie's family so that this wonderful
old treasure can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member
of this GRAY Family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
