Caswell
Hi Cheryl,
I, too, am researching the NC CASWELL line. Mae and I and three others are
currently passing information to each other as we find it. I currently have
about 3500 names of direct line descendants of Richard Slaney Caswell,
Richard Caswell, Richard Caswell Sr., Richard Caswell Jr., the first NC
Governor and so on. I am his 5th great granddaughter, through his son
Dallam
Caswell.
I have a John (Jack) Caswell b. 1/24/1772 d. 4/14/1795 married Mary Gray
Sheppard 1793 and one child listed, Benjamin John Caswell, but no other
information. Is this the same person you are descended from? I would love
more information, and would share anything I have.
