I have forwarded your mail to the Caswell listserver.
I'd love to know how the connection was established between the Taunton Ma.
line and this Thomas Caswell of Curry, Somerset.
Does anyone know WHY everyone thinks this is the right Thos. for the
Taunton Thos?
What proof is there?

Hi Mike,
Could you please research the message that is attached here for sources
that I can use in my genealogical pursuit of the line...Caswell-Hoskins,
Hoskins-?, Hoskins-Cole and Haskins/Hoskins-King
I am sure that I am related to Thomas through his daughter Sarah who
married William Hoskins their great granddaughter Hopestill Haskins
(this is the way that my Grand Aunt Bertha Anna King spelled the name).
Hopestill married a Revolutionary War Pensioner named Amos Nahum King
son of William King born at New Salem, MA. They have 10 children my
Third Great grandfather is the first male and third child also probably
the last born at New Salem before they relocated to Caanen, Columbia
County New York.
Hopestill's mother is Mary Cole father is William Hoskins whose father
is also William Hoskins.
Any references down this line are welcome. I sent a notice to the
general list last week got one good answer from a Sam Casey but the
answer that I sent twice was returned to me.

Hopeing that you have a great New Year
