I have been doing some research on the Caswell family in that area of
Vermont and New Hampshire and some of them went to Stanstead, PQ at that
time and then settled in the Chelsea, VT area later. Check on this

I have done some more digging in my attempts to find the ancestors of
Seth
Caswell of Barnard, Vermont. I think that he was the son of Thomas Caswell
and Susanna ?? (perhaps Wing), and that he was born 22 March 1809 in
Grafton, NH.
I also think that Thomas and Susanna were married in Carver, Plymouth
County, MA on 2 Nov 1793. They resided in Grafton, NH in the 1810 census,
then moved to Windsor County, VT sometime before 1820, living in the Barnard
and Stockbridge areas until they disappear.
I believe that Seth married 1st Tina Roundy and 2nd Luthera Emerson, my
ggggrandmother. Seth lived in Stockbridge and Barnard from 1830 thru 1880.
Do any of these people ring a bell with anyone out there? I would like to
verify whether I am correct, and, if I am, the ancestry of Thomas and
Susanna. Come on Caswells, you can do it.
Thanks in advance.
