HOGAN, Elmer Bernard - 61, 52 Maple Boulevard, Bible Hill, passed away
July 6, 2000, in the
Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Parkdale, P.E.I., he was a
son of the late John and
Helen (MacInnis) Hogan. He worked for Warren Maritimes Ltd. as an
estimator. He was past
president of the Benevolent Irish Society in Charlottetown and a member
of
the Lion's Club. He was
also involved in Minor Hockey. He is survived by his wife, the former
Rhoda
Longaphie; daughter,
Jacqueline and husband Joseph D'Costa, Red Deer, Alta.; sons, Bernard
and wife Jean,
Yellowknife, N.W.T.; Carlyle and wife Tricia, Red Deer, Alta.; Byron,
John A., both of
Fredericton, N.B.; sisters, Winnie Fraser McKay, Surrey, P.E.I.; Carol
Ferguson, Jackie Hogan,
both of Charlottetown; Eleanor Caswell, Stratford; Hazel and husband Don
Robichaud, Dieppe;
brothers, John and wife Donna, Fredericton; Wendell, Charlottetown;
grandson, Christopher Elmer
D'Costa. He was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Holmes. Visitation will
be
held 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
today in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St.. Funeral
service
11 a.m. Saturday in
Immaculate Conception Church, Monsignor Martin Currie officiating.
Burial in Robie Street
