Port Hood, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Fraser)
Laidlaw. She is survived by
daughters, Glenna (Mrs. Robert Bentley), Dartmouth; Joanne (Mrs. James
Devaney), Edmonton;
sons, Mark (Betty), Atlanta, Ga; Paul (Joan), Halifax; daughter-in-law,
Josie, Halifax; sister, Mary
Prendergast, New Waterford; eight grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren. She was
predeceased by her husband, Maxwell; sons, John and Wayne; sisters,
Helen Caswell, Elizabeth
Fumerton, Robina Conboy, Violet Webb; brothers, Basil and Alexander;
granddaughter, Patti
Lee. The remains are resting in Snow's Funeral Home, Windsor Street,
Halifax with visitation 2-4,
7-9 p.m. Thursday, December 28. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday in St.
Stephen's Parish, Robie
Street, Rev. Donald Boudreau officiating. Family burial at a later
date in Gate of Heaven
Cemetery, Lower Sackville. Family flowers only, memorial donations to
Northwood Foundation
or to a charity of choice greatly appreciated.
