Subject: Thomas Coke Threadgill of Anson Co.
Hi,
Was just looking at your Caswells of VA on
Ancestry.com. I have Thomas m
Lucy High, daughter of Benjamin High, I believe. In the 1850 Anson Co.,
Beverly, NC census find Thomas C. age 36 and wife Lucy, age 25 with two
children. Mary A., age 3 and James S., age 1 and an Ellen Threadgill,
age 23 was residing with them.. Does this make any sense to you,
(supposedly family Tradition). Lucy (High) Treadgill was raised by her
father's 1st cousin, George Allen, and that two brothers, Steve & Frank
lived with a High connection. A Mary Threadgill, died as a young woman
is buried in the High - Allen Cemetery.
Let me know what you think, is there any chance that it could be correct?
Thanks
