My line is "Casswell" from British Columbia.
We do have a Charles H., but with the
double 's' spelling. I noticed you spelled your Charles both ways. I assume the
double 's' was an error?
Beverly Casswell George
I am from British Columbia, Canada and I have a
gentleman that I have been trying to find for years.
His name was Charles W. Casswell. From a biography I
have information that he was born in the state of New
York. He was married in Stark Co. Illinois. He died in
Moline, Illinois.
Christina Coleman married September 21, 1840 William
Tener in Stark Co. Illinois.
Marriage performed by John Miller, P. J. P.
Christiana Tener married November 26 1847 Charles W.
Caswell in Stark Co. Illinois.
Christiana Coleman and Charles W. Caswell had three
children. I don't know the names of the children except
for my great grandmother Mary Martha Caswell who was
the second child.
I am hoping that someone might have information in
their files to help me find out who his parents were
and the names of the other two children. Actually any
little tidbit would be appreciated.
