got an inquiry from Cheryl Caswell, screen name CAMERAFA1. That led me to
your homepage. I can trace as far back to Job Caswell. b 1719 d
4-18-1809
who emigrated from Switzerland about 1759 to Hanover, Mass. He
married a
Mercy Perry. Job is buried in Leeds, ME in Plains Cemetary. His second
son,
Levi is my ancester. There is a book "History of Greene"
[Maine] by
Walter
Lindley Mower and another "History of the Town of Leeds" by
J.C.
Stinchfield
that contain further information. I have names of all children of
Job
Caswell; his son, Levi; Levi's son Peleg Benson Caswell b 8-1811 d
1-21-1884;
Peleg's son, Clark Robbins Caswell; Clark's son, Winfield
Benson Caswell
b
3-29-1877 d 1-22-64 (my grandfather).
