Hi Caswell's. I hope that all of you have had a blessed summer. In
response to the request for information about Seth Caswell, I have none.
However, please be encouraged in knowing that sometimes the things that
we learn about our ancestors isn't always lilly white. I was shocked and
also got really tickled at some of the things that we learned about some
of my husband's relatives recently. We had a good laugh about some of
the records and what they stated. Steve Parker, Are
you related to Seth Caswell?? We reached a dead end about my husband's
great great grandfather Benjamin Franklin Caswell because his mother had
died when he was young and then his father remarried and the step mom
was mean and threw a log at Ben so the dad put him on a ship at about 9
years old and Ben ended up in Georgia from MA. He didn't learn to read
and write until after the war. He also had to fight against some of his
cousins in the war. So we have also had a hard time finding out
information. We had two wonderful cousin's Janie Widemon and Steve
Caswell that helped us and supplied us with the information that we have
gotten. Without them, we probably wouldn't have gotten anything. I hope
that you find out about the descendants that you are looking for. I hope
that all of you Caswell's and families are doing great. God bless you.
:o)
